Are Your Emotions Wearing You Down

To this day I would have to say that people’s emotions can get the best of them. Everything around you seems to set you off. A tickle on your face can cause you to feel as if the world is ending.

You feel as if all hope is gone

Why does everybody else’s life seem all put together in a perfect mold with no defaults? Why me?

Did it occur to you that your emotions are eating you alive, and not only you but everyone else around you?

“I get it, I’m messed up”, you say to yourself.

Anger. Rage. Irritation. Frustration.

All the things that a Christian should be refraining from yet seem impossible. The truth is, it is possible.

Allowing others to determine your attitude

attitudeSometimes it seems that way. Doesn’t it? Allowing others to determine your attitude. 

You have a goal to do something and someone comes wobbling in after you throwing around their words.

And what do you do? You want nothing more than to ignore the insult but instead allow it to affect you and your choices.

Later in the day, you realize not all the words you exchanged were as wise as you would’ve wanted them to be. And the other people that have nothing to do with the confrontation got all the leftover negativity.

It seems to me that maybe, just maybe, you’re allowing others to determine your success.

Top 3 emotions working moms deal with when away

These are just some of the many phrases that you may hear a mom speak as she hands off her kid to someone else to head to work. Does this sound like you? I remember the first couple months I had Vera in daycare I drove the daycare staff nuts. With all of my demanding requests from washing her hands to she needs her stuffed giraffe at nap-time. A few times the director pulled me aside to let me know I was making the teachers feel like they were walking on egg shells. I didn’t realize that was what I was doing, but I also didn’t know what else to do with the emotions towards someone else watching my child. Let’s take a look at some of the natural emotions that moms face when leaving their child for the day and how we can properly deal with these emotions.
